The following were among the many calls responded to by the Lamesa Police Department from Monday, January 7, through Thursday, January 10: Monday, January 7 (No offenses, accidents nor arrests were reported inside the city limits.) Tuesday, January 8 8:03 a.m. – A school resource officer reported criminal mischief at the southeast side of Lamesa Middle School, South 1st Street and Bryan Avenue. An incident report was completed. 6:30 p.m. – A male reported a suspicious person walking in the alleyway in the 1700 block of North 7th Street. The complainant advised he had told the other male to leave after a verbal argument.
