Committee members planning for this summer’s Golden Tornado Jubilee met Monday to continue organizing for the mass Lamesa High School (LHS) reunion and for the unveiling of the event’s official t-shirt.Committee members, along with decade coordinators and class representatives, have been planning for the large school reunion since last year. The meeting brought out 23 people, including those traveling from San Angelo and Amarillo, to learn about the event’s activities.Cotton black t-shirts, emblazed with the school mascot and the words “Once a Tornado, Always a Tornado” in gold, will be available to purchase for $25 during the July 4-6 Jubilee.“They ...
