Dawson County has hired a financial advisor for a jail construction project but it likely will be months before county officials know exactly what kind of project they are looking at. As expected, a committee that has been looking at options for the future of the county jail presented three broad recommendations on Tuesday to the Dawson County Commissioners Court.
