One person was sentenced to prison and 10 others were placed on probation – eight with judgment deferred – during a busy day in 106th District Court here last Wednesday. Eddie Lee Rodriguez Jr., age 22, was sentenced to serve six years in prison afterpleading guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Rodriguez was given credit on that sentence for about 11 months already spent in custody.
