One person was taken into custody but no one was injured when a gunshot was fired in a residential area Sunday afternoon as part of a dispute, according to Lamesa Police Chief Josh Peterson.Police received a call about 1:24 p.m. regarding a man with a gun in the 500 block of N. 6th St.Peterson said officers learned there had been a verbal disagreement at the location and one of the individuals went inside a residence and got a gun.That person later fired a single shot from the gun but apparently was not firing at anyone, according to Peterson.“That person was ...
