SNYDER – The owners of the former Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) property and building can finally begin moving ahead with their planned improvements and open an event center after the Snyder City Council approved the second and final reading of the ordinance changing the zoning of the tract. The property had been zoned residential, but following Monday’ vote, it is now zoned commercial.
