The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce’s first meeting of the year will take place at 12 noon this coming Monday. The board will welcome its new directors and officers; set event days and holidays; and hear a report about December’s events and the upcoming banquet. Chamber President Sandra Adams said scheduling the dates for upcoming meetings and events is important. The Chamber will post the planned event dates on its calendar and website.
