SEMINOLE – In an otherwise routine meeting by the Gaines County Commissioners Court on Wednesday, commissioners entertained at least one small item that brings a hit of early holiday cheering in the waning weeks of summer. The court discussed and approved Benet McDonald, administrative assistant to County Judge Tom Keyes, to spearhead a small project that will bring new and improved Christmas decorations to the courthouse lawn.
