In his final in-person message to local voters attending Wednesday’s meeting with constituents, U.S. Congressman Mike Conaway (Dist. 11) focused on the future after his last year in office ends in late December. The congressman’s name is not on the Nov. 3 ballot. He has served eight terms with the U.S. House of Representatives and is not seeking a ninth.
