Douglas Morris, who served as assistant principal at Lamesa High School until recently, has been selected to represent the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals as Region 17 Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year. TASSP recognizes outstanding principals and assistant principals from the 20 regional Education Service Centers in the state. Each of the region winners were recognized during the Josten’s Night of the Stars Awards Dinner this past June at the Hilton Anatole Dallas Hotel.
