Mission effort provides array of turkeys, hams, canned food

Volunteers and Kingdom Culture Ministries members distributed 123 Thanksgiving turkeys, 30 hams and over 1,000 canned foods to community members Sunday afternoon at the O.W. and Mildred Follis Gym at Middle School.In an effort to help local residents enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal Thursday, church members conducted their second annual “Mission: Lamesa Thanksgiving Food Drive.”They collected donations from elementary school students, residents and from local grocery stores.
