Lydia Trejo (second from left) was named as winner of the Miss Merry Christmas Pageant on Thursday evening, while Yari Lopez (center) was the runner-up. Trejo was presented with a $1,000 scholarship from Howard College. Other contestants included Natalie Casillas (far left), Beth Rodriguez (second from right) and Klarissa Ortiz (far right).
