With Dawson County now exceeding 20 active cases of COVID-19, the county is now under the face mask order issued last week by Governor Greg Abbott. The requirement will last for minimum of 30 days, even if the county’s active case count drops below 20 during that time period. The announcement was made Monday morning by Lamesa Mayor Josh Stevens and Dawson County Judge Foy O’Brien.
