Dawson County Hospital District board members on Tuesday re-authorized a line of credit for the district not to exceed $5 million with the First United Bank.Their action was the only new item on the agenda for the meeting, which lasted only about 21 minutes.Board member Mike Johnson said the board extends its line of credit with the bank every year.“To my knowledge, it’s never been used,” Johnson said. “But we have to do it every year.”The board must first approve utilizing the credit line before using the funds for any unforeseen emergencies.“It’s not an actual loan until you need it,”
