Like other governmental entities, Lamesa school officials are waiting for certified property values to be released by the appraisal district on July 25 before finalizing their 2021-2022 budget. Lamesa school board members got a peek of a budget time line Thursday. “We’re hoping to have a budget approved by August – hopefully,” Chief Financial Officer Liz Oaks said.
