Governor Greg Abbott has appointed former Lamesa resident Ann-Marie Carruth as Judge of the 72nd Judicial District Court in Crosby and Lubbock Counties. A 2001 graduate of Lamesa High School, Carruth is the daughter of former Dawson County Judge Sam Saleh and his wife Sylvia. Carruth’s appointment is for a term set to expire on December 31, 2022, or until her successor shall be duly elected and qualified.
