Auditions are planned this coming week for the Lamesa Community Players’ upcoming production of Sutton Vane’s humorous and suspenseful play “Outward Bound.” Auditions will be held at the theater, located at 214 N. Austin Ave., at 6 p.m. this coming Monday and Tuesday. Kent and Brenda Rinewalt will direct the sympathetic drama, which is filled throughout with comic relief and romance. It features an odd assortment of six men and three women who find themselves on an ocean liner bound for judgment day. Rehearsals will be held twice weekly. Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 28-30 and at 2 p.m. Oct. 31. ...
