David Stewart, partner in KPET since 2008, was recognized by the Texas Association of Broadcasters (TAB) for his contribution to the industry. Stewart received the George Marti Award for Engineering Excellence. It was presented during TAB’s annual awards gala on Aug. 8 at the J.W. Marriott in downtown Austin. Known as the consummate radio engineer, Stewart started his radio career in his hometown of Lubbock.
