Klondike FFA members get $20,000 scholarships

Two recent Klondike High School graduates were recognized at the Texas FFA Convention this past week as each being a recipient of a $20,000 scholarship. Brenda Friesen and Kylar Pepper each received a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship awarded through the Texas FFA Foundation. “They are both very deserving and we couldn’t be prouder of them,” said Mackenzie Allison, who sponsors the Klondike FFA chapter along with her father, Todd Gregory.
