Students from Klondike and Borden County high schools made quite a medal haul at the state Class 1A University Interscholastic League Academic Spring meet held last Friday and Saturday in Austin. Most of those medals were gold, as the two schools combined to win state titles in five individual contests and three team events. Klondike junior Anna Jung picked up no less than four gold medals, all in the Science competition. Jung won the individual Science title and was a member of the winning Science team.
