Klondike ISD’s Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) and the student handbook were among the items of business discussed at that school district’s regular board meeting this past Thursday. The board scheduled a public hearing for the community about the district’s FIRST rating. The public hearing gave individuals in the community an opportunity to visit with the board about the rating. Klondike ISD Superintendent Steve McLaren said the school’s rating was superior at 100/100. “That’s about as good as you can get,” McLaren said.
