Kevin King takes 4th at cross country district meet

At the District 8-1A Cross Country Meet, Klondike sophomore Kevin King placed 4th with a time of 18:07, advancing to the regional meet October 23 at Mae Simmons in Lubbock.
Lilly Hightower placed 15th in the girls’ varsity division with a time of 17:37.
In the junior high girls’ division, KK Garcia placed 4th with a time of 15:34.
Allyson Rhoades placed 5th with a time of 15:39. Averi Casas came in 6th and ran a 16:23.
Olivia Vcargas was 8th with a time of 16:33.
In the junior high boys’ division, Ely Acevedo placed 8th with a time of 13:47, and Adrian Reyes was 26th place with a 16:23.
