The first of two public hearings on the Dawson County Hospital District’s proposed tax rate is scheduled this coming Thursday. That hearing is the only item on the agenda for a special called meeting of the hospital board at 5 p.m. in the community room at Medical Arts Hospital. Hospital board members voted 3-0 in late July to propose a 2019 tax rateof 33.6777 cents per $100 of taxable property value.
