Dawson County Hospital District (DCHD) board members gave the green light Thursday for a feasibility study on a new Emergency Medical Services (EMS) facility on hospital grounds. When Medical Arts Hospital (MAH) took over the EMS from the county seven years ago, it was handed the county facilities housing the EMS staff far from hospital grounds.
