The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is scheduled to accept construction bids in October on a project that will add passing lanes to US 180 between Lamesa and Seminole, according to a TxDOT press release “In addition to making roadway—placing a new road surface—and drainage improvements, the project will widen segments of the roadway to add passing lanes along this busy energy sector corridor,” said Kylan Francis, Lubbock District director of transportation planning and development.
