It was for a good cause when youngsters paid $1 to hit Dawson County Public Library Director Angie Martinez with creme pies at the library last week. Owen Soliz, 7, was one of many children who participated in the event. The benefit raised about $250 for the family of Stephanie Brown, a Lamesa school employee who suffered a stroke earlier this month.
