Additional time behind bars was ordered for 10 Texas prison inmates who pleaded guilty in district court here last week to crimes committed inside the Preston Smith Unit here. Senior Judge Cecil Puryear of Lubbock presided over the cases by assignment, with a special state attorney handling the prosecution. In each case, Judge Puryear ordered any new sentence or sentences to begin after each inmate completes the sentence he already is serving in prison.
