Four people were sentenced to serve time in the state prison system and four others were placed on probation during action in 106th District Court this past Wednesday with Judge Reed Filley presiding. Ordered to serve five years in prison was Kimberly Candace Connery, age 43, whose probation stemming from a 2012 drug conviction was revoked. Connery was given credit on her sentence for more than 19 months already spent in custody.
