Dois Pace, a former band director at Lamesa High School, was recently selected for membership in the Texas Bandmasters Hall of Fame. Induction will take place at the annual convention of the Texas Bandmasters Association in San Antonio in July, 2021. The induction traditionally would be this summer but, because of COVID-19 restrictions, all TBA activities have been suspended for 2020. The Texas Bandmasters Hall of Fame is sponsored by Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Mu, an international bandmasters fraternity.
