Former Lamesa resident Rob Warren was recognized as the 2020 Gaines County Farmer of the Year during the Gaines County Ag and Oil Appreciation Day held last Thursday in Seminole. Rob is the son of Jean and Jackie Warren of Lamesa. A fourth-generation farmer, Rob was born in Lubbock and raised in Lamesa, where he graduated from high school in 1996. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Development from Texas A&M University in 2000.
