A Lamesa man was arrested on a drug charge here Wednesday evening after fleeing officers and being found in the attic of an abandoned residence, according to Lamesa police. Jacob Simon Dimas, age 34, reportedly was arrested on charges of evading arrest or detention with previous convictions, possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1, and an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1.
