It didn’t take members of the Lamesa City Council long to handle all of the items needing action that were on the agendas for a pair of meetings early this week. But that definitely didn’t mean the meetings were each over in just a matter of minutes. Monday’s meeting lasted for some four hours. Tuesday’s extended late into the evening as well.
