A father and son were both shot here Sunday evening, and a relative has been charged in connection with the incident, according to Lamesa police.The two injured men, who were not identified in a press release issued by Police Chief Josh Peterson, each suffered gunshot wounds to the leg.Both had been taken by private vehicle to the emergency room at Medical Arts Hospital, where they received initial treatment before being transported to Medical Center Hospital in Lubbock.“As of yesterday they were still in the hospital,” Peterson said Wednesday morning.He said their wounds were not believed to be life threatening.A man ...
