SEMINOLE – Seminole resident James Farmer said he was destined to become a firefighter. The Seminole Volunteer Fire Department captain was brought home from the hospital as a newborn, sporting a fireman’s hat and dressed in a jumpsuit similar to the one worn by his dad, a fire chief in Knoles, New Mexico at the time.
