Dawson County saw its largest one-time jump in COVID-19 cases reported Monday by the South Plains Public Health District. The district’s update for Monday on its website showed the county had gained 12 new cases of the virus since last Friday. However, no new cases were reported here Tuesday. Dawson County now has 28 active cases of the virus, an increase from 19 last Friday, according to the health district website.
