With an average of more than 10 new COVID-19 cases popping up here every day, Dawson County has recorded its fourth death from the virus, according to the South Plains Public Health District. That fourth death – the first new death recorded among a local resident from COVID-19 since late June – was reported Thursday on the district’s website.
