County now has 175 active COVID cases

One hundred and seventy-five people in Dawson County currently are listed as having active cases of COVID-19. That’s according to the latest information from the South Plains Public Health District. Twenty-five new cases of the virus among Dawson County residents were reported on Thursday alone. That followed six new cases on Wednesday. The county has now had 697 residents contract the virus since the first case here was reported in March.
