SNYDER – The Scurry County Museum is working on a project to document stories from the Black community in Scurry County. The museum has been working with Jared Dennis, an independent researcher and Snyder native who is researching museum archives and speaking with residents who recall the early history of Black settlement and segregation in Scurry County.
