Opting to give County Attorney Steve Payson more time to review the paperwork, members of the Dawson County Commissioners Court on Tuesday delayed action on a proposed contract about the future of the county jail. During their regular meeting the court was scheduled to consider action on a two-phase contract with Southwest Architects about possible renovation, expansion or replacement of the Dawson County Jail.
