It only took a few minutes on Monday afternoon for the Dawson County Commissioners Court to correct an overlooked longevity pay issue for the adult probation office. County Treasurer Terri Stahl said the adult probation office has chosen to receive its longevity pay differently from the other county offices. The adult probation office only receives those payments two times a year – May and November, Stahl said. “Any other time this could have waited until the next pay period,” Stahl said, “but they need the money sooner.” Since the final county payroll for May will be approved by the Commissioners Court next week,
