A special called meeting of the Dawson County Commissioners Court has been scheduled this coming week to make a correction in regard to longevity for the Adult Probation Office. The Commissioners Court will meet at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the County Courtroom of Dawson County Courthouse, North 1st Street and Main Avenue, in Lamesa. “It won’t take five minutes,” Dawson County Judge Foy O’Brien said on Friday. “It’s just a correction that needs fixed before next court.” The only item on the agenda for consideration at Monday’s meeting is the longevity correction. ...
