Dawson County officials have tallied more than $132,000 worth of equipment they hope to purchase through funds from the local Weaver Foundation. Ranging from guns and laptop computers to jail security equipment, those purchases will be used to meet specific needs of the Dawson County Sheriff’s Department and the county jail.
