Entrance and rental fees for the community swimming pool haven’t changed in years, even though those fees aren’t enough to cover the cost of operating the facility. In an attempt to recoup some of the loss, Lamesa City Council members didn’t alter the daily entrance fees, but they voted Tuesday to increase rental charges to $300 without a refundable deposit.
