Going against one of the top-ranked Class 1A teams in the state, the Klondike girls basketball team lost to Ropes on Tuesday night by a score of 52-27. “They are the number-three team in the state and they played like it,” Klondike Coach Xavier Elizondo said. He said the Lady Cougars played well defensively. “This was good to use as a measuring stick for us as we get close to district play,” Elizondo said.
