A correction to a date in the 2019-2020 school calendar, which was prepared earlier in the year, was one of several items addressed by the Dawson ISD board on Monday night. The dates for the Thanksgiving holiday were listed wrong in the original calendar for the upcoming school year, Superintendent Layne Sheets said, and those dates were corrected in an updated calendar that was approved by the board.
