Time, dates wrong in candidate story A story in the Sunday, Dec. 15, edition of the Lamesa Press-Reporter about Hector Cantu, candidate for Dawson County Sheriff, contained a couple of errors. Cantu has 30 total years of law enforcement experience to date. The story inaccurately said he had 30 years at the time he left the Texas Highway Patrol. Cantu has lived in Lamesa since 1967.
