Saturday will be the first day of a city-wide fall cleanup by the City of Lamesa to collect bulk items which local residents want to discard. With a different area of the city to be targeted each weekend, this Saturday the cleanup will focus on City Council Districts 1 and 6, represented by council members Brant Stewart and Doug Morris; Residents wanting to discard any large items are invited to place them at the curbside in front of their homes during the days leading up to the cleanup scheduled for their specific neighborhood.
