This coming Saturday will mark the first part of a two-weekend Lamesa Community Cleanup effort being organized by the City of Lamesa. The north part of the city, from North 4th Street to the northern edge of the city, will be the target area for the cleanup effort this coming Saturday. The following Saturday, June 27, the cleanup will focus on the area from North 4th Street to the south. Citizens may place trash items on their curbside on the Friday night before their area is scheduled to be picked up.
