City council members amended the fees Nov. 19 on first reading of the golf course’s ordinance code and made changes to accommodate more golfers onto the nine-hole municipal golf course.Golf course members already pay $95 per month in dues which allows them to bring one guest. They receive discounts if they are active or retired military, over 65 years old, or pay their dues a year in advance.The amendment to the city ordinance opens the door for school districts and corporations to utilize the golf course.The new corporate membership fee of $300 per month is for up to four employees.
