The Dawson County Commissioners Court has agreed to give the City of Lamesa permission to install a new water supply line beneath the surface of County Road K for a length of approximately 2.5 miles. An interlocal agreement with the city was approved by the Commissioners Court on Tuesday afternoon. That agreement now will go to the Lamesa City Council for its consideration and possible approval, Dawson County Judge Foy O’Brien said.
